Join our lovely Zoe to learn the sweet art of intarsia - the way you make pictures in your knitting - by making a swatch on the day but leaving with the yarn and pattern to make a gorgeous cushion. Make sure to take advantage of Zoe's 20+ years in the industry as a knit and crochet designer and yarn manufacturer, she'll steer you right.
You need to be able to cast on, knit, purl and cast off confidently. Reading a pattern would be a bonus but reading intarsia patterns both written and charted is part of the lesson.
All classes take place at the Trinity Walk shop and start at 10.30am sharp and finish at 3pm not so sharp... We have a half an hour lunch which I have to be strict about because four hours is a lot of finger work! You'll probably want to bring a lunch but you might be able to survive on the biscuits.
Full payment is to be made in advance. Lessons are non-refundable – please only book if you're are going to be available on that date. In the case of illness please let us know as soon as possible and before the lesson begins and we will endeavour to book you onto an appropriate alternate date but this won't always be possible and we reserve the right not to as the lessons are sold as non-refundable. Lessons are transferable so if you can't come you can send a friend instead (ideally, you'd let me know so I can write that in the diary).
