For the first time in a long time we welcome a guest teacher - the lovely April Towriess, local designer and bloody lovely woman. She appeared on the vlog as part of Vlog a Day April because we are selling the 'Ay Up Me Duck' printed pattern exclusively in the shop which lots of you have expressed interest in but are apprehensive about the colourwork in crochet. So this is going to be amazing. You have a few options for making this actually and April will take you through them in swatch form on the day before starting your very own little 'Ay Up' banner. WHAT COULD BE MORE MIDLANDS THAN THAT!!??!?!
You will be provided the yarn, the dowel, the pattern for the banner and a lovely April Towriess printed tote bag on the day. You'll need to provide your own hooks (roughly around a 4mm but I'd bring from a 3mm to a 5mm and if you don't have that or forget on the day you're welcome to buy).
The lesson won't run unless at least four of you are booked on but I suspect we'll be fine so make sure you book quickly!
All classes start at 10.30am sharp and finish at 3pm not so sharp... We have a half an hour lunch which I have to be strict about because four hours is a lot of finger work! You'll probably want to bring a lunch but there are plenty of places to buy around here now.
