This stunning Rico Blanket has really caught everybody's eye in the shop. A bestseller! It's something that a few people are scared of though so I'm ehre to fill you with bubbly, enthusiastic confidence! It's a beautifully simple stitch once you get the beginning and ends of the rows right and it's useful for so many pieces, a few people have taken the pattern and made it into a scarf so we'll talk about the many variation possibilities. You'll need to know how to chain and treble for the day (that really is it!) and preferably you'll have tried to follow a pattern, if you've been on our crochet number two lesson you should be fine.
The price of the lesson includes a printed copy of the pattern and some notes from me. Providing the yarn for the entire blanket would make the lesson very expensive for you all, so we'll be providing mini balls in a selection of colours to practice on the day and then if you want to go ahead and purchase the yarn for the blanket then you'll get a 10% discount on the day. You'll need a 3.5mm hook which you can purchase on the day if you don't have it. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included as always but if you need any speciality teas, coffees or milks then you'll need to bring your own. And you bring your own lunch.
Lessons start at 10.30 and run until 3pm but we're often a little late so don't book anything too soon after finishing time! We're right in the city centre (9, Trinity Walk, NG1 2AN) and parking is best at the Victoria Centre car park or the Trinity Square car park.
