We recommend knitting these patterns in King Cole Big Value Aran, a value acrylic with lovely flecky colourways, perfect for the detailed cabling in this pattern. I think that these patterns would also look great in King Cole Forest Aran, perfect for parents who are ecologically minded as it is a totally recycled yarn (but washable and soft too). 

You will need 5mm needles for this project.
