When you think of knitted baby clothes, these are the kinds of patterns that spring to mind for me. Simple and beautiful with a cable to keep you interested as you knit. 

Knitted in King Cole Comfort Aran, which is a specially engineered supersoft blend of acrylic and nylon for babies. I think that these patterns would also look good in a variegated colourway like those found in King Cole Drifter Aran. 

You will need 4mm and 5mm straight needles, a cable needle and stitch holders.
