This pattern is bringing advent calendars to a new level, mixing the concept with a cushion so you have easy access to snacks whilst you watch Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York for the 48th time. Admittedly, I am not sure that 25 wee treats would last me the month if they were on the sofa...*

The calendars are knitted using a whole assortment of yarn. For the fluffy, snow-like texture the designer has used  King Cole Yummy Chunky, as well as King Cole Big Value Chunky and King Cole Dolly Mix for the embroidery. Check out the specs for the sizing of both advent cushions...

Knitted on 6mm straight needles, you will also need 9mm and 12mm safety eyes depending on which cushion you choose. 

*stitch markers and row counters are small and would fit and not melt if you accidentally sat on them
