Aww, don't these babies look smart! I'm definitely a fan of the front cover pattern, because it uses the bear buttons, but that little detail of a couple of garter stitch rows brings it all together and elevates it quite a bit. The texture doesn't get lost in the variegation, either. 

This has been written in the new King Cole Baby Pure DK, an acrylic/polyamide mix that brings a lot of softness to the yarn.

You'll need 3.25mm, 3.75mm and 4mm needles, along with stitch holders, and some buttons; four to six buttons for the cardigan and one button for the jumper.
