Gosh I love these sweet little pieces - the yoke is just so old fashioned and gorgeous and the pretty little picot edge and I want to dress a baby like they're from the 50's please and thanks. 

The pattern is written for the King Cole Drifter for Baby with edgings in King Cole Cottonsoft DK but that was before they brought out the King Cole Drifter Subtle DK which you could totally use too. I would be tempted to try this whole thing in a plainer colour honestly and allow the texture to shine. 

Knitted on 3.75mm and 4mm straight needles.
