This gorgeous cardigan has a beautiful texture with repeating rectangles giving an almost crocheted appearance. This brings added warmth and added interest when knitting it, if you're, like, soooooo over stocking stitch already. This pattern also comes with beautiful back detailing and *deep breath* POCKETS! What's not to like?

This is originally knitted in the King Cole Merino Blend DK, but for a non-wool alternative, it would look fab in the King Cole Cotton Top DK, a super soft acrylic yarn with a white cotton fleck running through it that we reckon would really enhance the texture.

Knitted on 4mm straight needles.
