My goodness this is another one of those patterns that has everything in it! Socks, hats, a cowl, gloves and a... capelet thingy? King Cole are fond of these and I would be interested to see somebody wearing one in the wild, I'm sure it could be amazing - you can prove it to me. Suffice to say, the socks and gloves are my favourite and we sell a lot of these in the shop for those specific things.
We don't stock the yarn any more but any DK would do, Riot DK in particular would look great. You need some 3.25mm and 4mm straight needles and some stitch holders for the socks and helmet.
