King Cole Comfort Chunky
We've been asked many times for a solid workhorse chunky baby yarn, and we have delivered! Don't praise us too much (no, please do, we're needy). I really think that these colours are unusual tones for babies, and that's why I love them and probably why they're super popular in the shop too.
I want to explain that the two needle sizes are a signifier of the yarn's versatility. 6mm will be more common in British patterns but more often than not online and/or foreign patterns will use differently sized needles, and this shows just how useful this yarn can be.
- Fibre: 60% Acrylic 40% Nylon.
- Amount: 100g.
- Metres: 106 metres.
- Yards: 116 yards.
- Washing: 40 degrees.
- Suggested Hook: 6/8mm.
- Suggested Needle: 6/8mm.
- Stocking Stitch Gauge: 14 sts by 20 rows over 4" (10cm) for the 6mm needles, 12 sts by 16 rows over 4" (10cm) for the 8mm.
