King Cole Merino Blend DK
This blended wool yarn is soft and non-scratchy, and comes in a multitude of bright, rich colours, making it perfect for Fairisle as chances are the colours you're looking for are one of these. It also cables phenomenally well, making it our go-to warm winter jumper yarn. It also does excellently in hats and scarves, but garments are where this yarn truly shines.
The King Cole Merino Blend DK is a step up from acrylics, but a step down from the lusciously soft King Cole Luxury Merino DK, making it a mid-range yarn perfect for quality knitwear on a budget.
