This is a stunning blanket that is stunningly simple to knit. I love these kinds of projects that are easily portable (just one ball and a pair of pointy sticks required) and perfect for knitting on public transport. 

We would recommend a couple of different yarns for this project but as it is a blanket - you can use any weight of yarn you would like - the thicker the yarn the bigger then end blanket will be (and obviously this also means the thinner the yarn, the smaller it will be). This blanket would look utterly fabulous in the gorgeous King Cole Forest Aran, ethically produced from 100% recycled materials and lovely and soft to boot! 

Knitted using on 4.5mm straight needles.
