All deliveries will be sent First Class via Royal Mail. We will use the cheapest option available at the time of postage. Our postage rates are as follows:
Please remember that a 100g ball of wool will weigh more when the packaging is taken into account.
Please contact us if you want a higher price delivery i.e. special delivery, signed for, or if your order is to be sent abroad, and we will alter the price accordingly.
We regret to inform you that we can not offer refunds on artisan products, patterns, books, needles and notions unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We are happy to offer a refund or replacement on any commercial yarn, as long as it is in a saleable condition - i.e. no odour, the ball-band intact or not used (this list is not exhaustive). Refunds will be made in the same manner as the original sale. For example, if you paid by card, then the refund will go back onto that card.
The refund will only be issued once we have received the goods back in our possession.
If you are posting the item back to us, this will be at your expense unless we are at fault.
If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within 28 working days of receiving the goods and return the item to our possession within 28 working days of informing us of your intention to return the goods.
Please be aware that our stock levels in the shop are not connected to the website. This means the site will allow you to buy products even if we do not have them in stock. If this is the case we would make you aware and either order it in or offer an alternative. Stock levels are currently very low at our suppliers due to the pandemic so this is a very real possibility! We are doing our best to keep you all in yarn, please keep an eye out in your spam folder!
As we are a retail shop, there may be times when the item you are wanting to buy has already been bought by another customer before we have been able to pick and pack your item.
If this occurs, we will endeavour to contact you within a reasonable time. You can wait for the item to be re-ordered, select an alternative item or be given a refund. In the case of artisan items, the item may not be restocked so an alternative would be offered or a refund given.
Please bear in mind that the colour or shade of the item ordered may differ from the picture seen, this is due to different screen resolutions.
We do not disclose buyer information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the "Remember Me" Option.
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our payment system. We do not store any customer payment information on our system. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We use RBS WorldPay for credit card purchases.
