Better get this going quick! It needs to be ready for the first of December!
We think the perfect shades for the calender are the Cardinal and Grousmoor shades of Sweetbriar Chunky and the Gold shade of the Dolly Mix. You won't be disappointed! For the angels I'd pick and choose between the Dolly Mix and the Cygnet DK. If you're making a few of them, it's well worth spending the little extra money on the Cygnet DK because it works out cheaper in bulk. Don't forget you might have some bits and bobs of these colours in stash (I can't believe I'm reminding you of that...).
For the calender you'll need some 5mm needles (the needles are too small for the wool to make the fabric nice and firm). You'll also need one metre of 6mm dowling to support the calender at the top and the bottom. For either of the angels you'll need some 3.75mm needles and a small amount of toy stuffing and for the large angel you'll need 4 star sequins and and long rug needle.
