Goth's Kitchen Mini Skeins

Goth\'s Kitchen Mini Skeins

You may remember a couple of months ago we took part in Operation SJW which was a collective effort by yarn-y peeps to make money for good causes. I loved being part of it and we made £150 for Tracy's Street Kitchen which is a local charity providing hot meals and support for anybody in need in Nottingham - mostly homeless people or vulnerably housed. Her team of volunteers are up on Trinity Square every Friday evening (and more during lockdown!) doing their bit for our community. Lockdown hit just as we were supposed to be getting this dyed and out to our lovely customers and for various reasons my head was... askew... so I ended up dyeing a lot of the 'wrong' colourways(!!!) and this is what we have here. They're still super lovely so I'm really pleased to present them to you and I'm still honouring the 20% going to Tracy's Kitchen which I'll donate when I've sold all the skeins.

Goth's Kitchen

Basically the same colourway but with a nice warm, charcoaly black instead of the warm, mid-grey I'd designed. There's still an emerald green, pumpkin orange and tomato red to represent the food and a hint of neon yellow to represent the volunteers but the streets section has just gone a bit goth. This colourway won't stripe, depending on what you knit or crochet with it though it will probably pool and if you use it for socks it will spiral.

This listing is for 20g of the yarn but if you've like a 100g skein click here .
