The Newish Reddish Top

You wouldn't know this but I do actually finish some projects. Once upon a time, in the old blog and vlog, I used to update you when I started, as I was going and then when I finished. I was spurred on to finish so that I could show you all what I was up to and somehow, as the shop got busier that just waned a little until I got to the point where I was like - does anybody actually want to know?! Especially when a swatch and an excited post will be enough to sell something online...

Linendale Love
This new summer yarn is a 57% cotton, 39% viscose and 13% linen blend, all wrapped up in a 50g ball of goodness. With 120 metres / 131 yards to a ball, too, that's a rather good little bundle of joy.

Nordic Chunky Is Here!
King Cole Nordic Chunky is a behemoth of a yarn. 200m of pure bliss in every 150g ball, and it's 20% superwash merino to boot! The rest is acrylic, meaning that while this wool content is going to keep you super warm, this yarn is going to be hard wearing and suitable for wearing a lot. And, trust me, you're going to want to wear this a lot. We've got eight shades in stock and I genuinely can't pick one as my favourite. Possibly the pinky-purpley Tove (4804), but also that lime greeny one, Sune (4806). Oh, but then there's the gorgeous deep blue in Frode (4800)...

Soft as a Cloud (Cumulus Lace)

Soft as a Cloud (Cumulus Lace)

You wanted it, we got it. We've been asked for mohair-esque yarns in the shop for quite a while now, because many people are now discovering the joys of holding it double with a standard yarn. Doing so gives anything you make a bit of fluff and floof and fancy. It took a while for us to find the right yarn, but we've got it now and it's not even mohair. Fyberspates Cumulus is a gorgeous alternative to mohair. Its lace-weight core and super-soft halo is 74% Baby Suri Alpaca, and 26% Mulberry Silk. Fancy, right? And yet, more affordable...
