Hey everyone, Hannah and Dan here, we’re the proud new owners of Knit Nottingham!
Taking over a yarn shop is a dream come true for me (Hannah), and something we’ve talked about for years but never thought would actually happen. So when the opportunity came up to take over Knit Nottingham, we couldn’t pass it up. I'm so excited about all the fabulous things we have in store for you - my brain is exploding with ideas!
Knit Nottingham is and always will be a community driven, creative and inclusive space for so many whether you’re new to knitting/crochet or a seasoned pro. This is something that is important for us to continue and build on. Please know that I can talk about wool and knitting/crocheting all day so I encourage you to bring your projects in to show me… I can’t wait to see the things you make with the yarn purchased from the shop.

I also sew my own clothes and am big on sustainability and mending so expect to see some workshops and events around that.

We want to assure you that all the things you've come to love about Knit Nottingham will stay. I'm talking about your favourite products, the friendly atmosphere, and, of course, the exceptional service. I know that change can be difficult so I want to make the transition as smooth as possible.
I'm also keen on introducing some fresh, exciting ideas (gradually!) that I believe you'll absolutely adore. From new product lines to community events, workshops, day trips - we're going to make sure Knit Nottingham continues to be a place you'll love. If anything is going to change, I’ll let you know - are you following the shop on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube? I’ll be regularly updating you on everything that’s happening across all platforms so I’d love to see you there.
