I love how smart this kid looks in their jumper and cardigan, it's just so wonderful to see kids in hand knits isn't it? It's a nice simple cable for a start if that's what you're after. These patterns were written for an aran yarn that we don't stock but you could happily use the Big Value Aran or the Sirdar Hayfield Aran Bonus or Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed. 

The suggested needles are 4mm and 5mm straights, stitch holders and some cable needle.
