So, family aran patterns are a total classic. You kinda can't go wrong (but the child looks a tad traumatized). Don't you think that both aran motifs on the bloke's and the woman's are so interesting? They're so chunky yet so minimalist, so modern and yet so classic. Big fan of a skirt, tights and boots combo with a nice comfy jumper.

These have been knitted in King Cole Fashion Aran, but you can use any other King Cole Aran weight yarn for this pattern. You'll need 4.5mm and 5mm needles, two cable needles, and buttons for the sweater with buttons and cardigan.
