This funky kid is going places! I'm loving the lace at the bottom but on the cardigan there's also a little bit at the cuffs, and that is something you don't often see. A nice basic stocking stitch, an easy lace pattern and a gorgeous raglan line makes this set of garments something any little one in your life would be thrilled to receive.

This has been knitted up in the new King Cole Cottonsmooth DK, a 100% mercerised cotton yarn that adds great stitch definition to an already gorgeous pattern. 

You'll need 3.25mm and 4mm needles, stitch holders, and either three or four buttons for each cardigan depending on the size you're making.
