I really think this shows off the Subtle Drifter DK and what the range has been made for just perfectly. The colours that they've chosen are muted, and they work so well with so many of the Drifter DK colourways. It's almost like it was deliberate...

I do think you can take the concept of the edging in Subtle and the body in Drifter and apply it to almost any other King Cole pattern, but this one just does it nicely. I love the short sleeve, too.

This pattern has been knitted in Drifter DK and Subtle Drifter DK, but you can use any other King Cole yarn in DK weight. You'll need 3.75mm and 4mm needles, along with buttons for the cardigan.
