Hesitant about trying a more heavily cabled garment? Knit the headband first - check your tension and get used to the pattern and then dive in to that gorgeous cardi pattern! This pattern is richly cabled even the mock turtle neck hasn't been left unadorned. 

For this pattern we would recommend using King Cole Forest Aran or our lovely King Cole Big Value Aran. Both are basic, pure acrylic yarns that are lovely and soft and get the job done. 

You will also need 5mm and 4mm knitting needles and a cable needle.
