Knitted waistcoats are just the best and this one doesn't disappoint. The simple twist adds interest and detail without being overwhelming.   

We would recommend using Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Aran or Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed. It is a wool/acrylic blend with heathery variegated colourways and tweeds which gives it the distinctive look that is so gorgeous in garments. You could also try our King Cole Forest Aran, this is a flecky yarn that is entirely recycled and would show off the cable in this knit perfectly. 

You will need 4mm and 5mm needles, a cable needle and you might also need a 4mm 100cm circular needle which we stock from Addi and from Clover.
