Warm and snuggly enough for the Russian Steppe, these patterns are simple to knit and the 'roll-come-polo' neck on the sweater is soft and wide for comfort. 

They are knitted in King Cole Big Value Super Chunky Tints which is a soft, 100% acrylic yarn in lots of variegated colourways. King Cole Timeless Super Chunky would be a great substitute yarn for this as it has 10% alpaca content giving it "loft" (fluffiness) and it comes in subtle, solid colours. 

You will also need 8mm and 10 mm needles and stitch holders for the cardigan.
