Knitted in King Cole Cherished DK a super soft, smooth acrylic blend made just for babies. You could also look at using the final sister in the cherish triplet and use King Cole Cherish Dash DK as a contrast to the solid yarn. It is the same yarn but has a tiny fleck of colour which gives a speckly, beautiful fabric. 

These patterns are knitted on 3.25mm and 4mm straight needles and you will need cute buttons to finish depending on your garment choice.
