I love the juxtaposition of the smooth twisted cables against the rows of garter for this fabulously simple knit. 

This was written for a discontinued yarn but would look just lovely in King Cole Drifter Chunky. I think that this pattern would also look great in King Cole Chunky Tweed, which has a wool content but also this cheeky little fleck which adds interest without overwhelming that lovely cable. 

You will also need 5mm and 6mm knitting needles and a cable needle for this project.
