The chevron lace detail at the bottom of this cardi looks stunning and compliments the yarn beautifully. The real star of this pattern for me however is the shawl. Elegant and gorgeous and could look fabulous in any of our DK weight yarns depending on the kind of drape you want in the end. 

And for once when King Cole say larger sizes? They actually go up to a slightly more inclusive 50" bust.

Originally they are knitted in King Cole Vogue DK which has a mottled colourway and is made of 100% cotton fibre. I think that this would look fabulous in.

Knitted on 3.75mm, 4.5mm and 5mm straight needles depending on whether you are knitting the shawl or the cardi.
