They are knitted using King Cole Merino Blend 4ply, a gorgeous 100% wool yarn, with all the smoothness and strength required for a good cable. If you are sensitive to wool, you might want to try using King Cole Drifter 4ply which is super soft and with only 6% wool it shouldn't irritate skin.

You will need 2.75mm and 3.25mm knitting needles, a Cable Needle and Stitch Holders (just for the top).
