We're absolutely recommending the King Cole Pricewise DK for this for the hardwearing washable nature of the yarn. However, I reckon the King Cole Paradise Beaches DK shades would look lush, and make it so insanely soft.

You'll need 3.25mm and 4mm needles, a cable needle, a stitch holder, between four and six buttons depending on the size you're making and elastic for the trousers.
