Wowzers trousers, this is a helluva mixture of texture and colour, matching a broken rib stitch with the variegated colourways of King Cole Drifter Chunky. 

The original drifter colourways are self-striping with a faux fair isle look, they bring lots of colour and interest to a pattern. If you are looking for a solid colour, I would recommend King Cole Chunky Tweed for this as it has a lovely smooth texture which will give those stitches serious definition. 

You will need 6.5mm and 6mm knitting needles for these projects.
