I think that this might be one of my favourite kids garments from King Cole. I am a sucker for contrasting yarns anyway but I feel like it would be a really well loved and well used garment for many kids. Also, that crew neck jumper would be perfect for a special occasion with a shirt underneath. 

These patterns are knitted in King Cole Subtle Drifter Chunky, washable, soft and has excellent marl-y colourways. If you have more rambunctious kiddos you might want to consider the well priced King Cole Big Value Chunky, which has the best solid colours but is slightly cheaper to reduce panic about wear and tear! 

You will also need 5mm and 6mm knitting needles  and the same sizes of 60cm circular needles for the hoodie.
