Oh, this cable is so subtle, I love it! You often get cable panels up the middle, so this is almost like a reverse-cable-panel in that it looks like you've done a panel of stocking stitch because why not? Love the way it looks so seamless with the raglan construction, too. I see no reason not to knit this! 

This has been knitted in King Cole Subtle Drifter DK, but if you want something jazzier the Drifter DK and Drifter for Baby DK would add some funky variation to the colours. 

You're going to need 4mm and 3.25mm needles, stitch holders, and buttons for the cardigan.
