When you're after just a nice, simple baby knit, this is the pattern you should go for. Classic stocking stitch cardigan, a stocking stitch blanket that shows off self striping yarn perfectly, and then a coatigan/jacket with just a little bit of flare at the bottom to give it a bit of zazz. It's so cute, right?

This has been written for the King Cole Beaches DK but we'd also recommend their Island Beaches for self striping yarn in single colours.

You'll need 3.25mm and 4mm needles, stitch holders, and buttons for the jacket and cardigan.
