Another fantastic example of cables knitted in a self striper which works not only because of the long colour change and delicate colours but because the cable is bold. To me, this makes it modern. I also love the little garter ridge which acts as a sort of 'clock' as you're knitting - you can keep an eye on how much you've done without being held to counting or marking rows. Love that. Also, never not going to be into children in knitted trousers.
