The thing about Janie's patterns are that they're just visually stunning. She has a way with texture, colour, tessellation and simplicity that I've never seen in another designer. They're not overdone, they're interesting to make and you can actually imagine people using them. I can see this particular motif in garments and on cushions and as doilies too - so make the most of it!! Janie's patterns are beautifully written, with photographs throughout and include both written and charted instructions so if you feel it's a step up for you, you're in good hands. 

The blanket measures 120cm (48 inches) square.
