If you wanted to go for something a little less busy you could try our King Cole Merino Blend DK, 100% pure wool and in a fabulous range of solid shades. 

Knitted on 3.25mm and 4mm straight needles and a 3.25mm 80cm circular needle for the edge of the waistcoat and some stitch holders.
