This really does fill a hole in the King Cole range. We love a super chunky here and there are good reasons to use acrylics and blends in this thickness (mainly to keep things light weight) but there is just something about a wool isn't there. This is 100% wool, a merino blend but all wool, and it's got a woolly feel to it - not to say it's scratchy but it's got some oomph. It means it's going to hold it's shape even though it's heavy and it will be warm as all get out.
