Each of these eyes comes with a safety back (some of the backs are actually plastic rather than metal so don't be worried about that) which fits perfectly onto the front and does not come off. So when you're making your piece, before you stuff it, you'll insert the eye and add the back on on when you're absolutely sure. You've been warned!
