The bow detail on this tunic pattern is as cute as a button and I can imagine that hat would look fabulous with a contrasting pom pom.
Knitted in King Cole Cherish DK which is a variegated yarn and a super soft acrylic blend made just for babies. You could also look at using King Cole Cherished DK (the solid sister of Cherish DK) which is the same yarn but in lots of colourful shades.
