We can all tell that this is a pattern for "proper men" when the model is posing outdoors with a stick...*be still my cave woman heart*

This is a sweet variation of a vest with a shawl collar and a crew neck sweater knitted in King Cole Big Value Chunky which is interchangeable with the Chunky Tweed and the Subtle Drifter Chunky. 

These patterns are knitted using 7mm and 8mm knitting needles and a cable needle.
