This basic sock pattern is knitted flat, so it's a great introduction for turning the heel and shaping the toe without those pesky double-pointed needles getting in the way.

These have got ribbed and stocking stitch variations, and are knitted in the fabulous, self-striping King Cole Drifter DK, which makes you look super clever even if this is your first foray into sock making. If a solid colour is what you're after, it's sister yarn is the King Cole Drifter Subtle DK which is also a stellar choice!

Knitted on 3.25mm, 3.75mm, and 4mm straight needles. If you're most interested in a particular pattern, double-check on the attached spec sheet so you only get the needles you need. :)
