These yokes are absolutely fabulous, aren't they? I love this little chevron pattern, it pops up on quite a lot of King Cole patterns and it always makes me smile when I see it. With the raglan shaping too and the cute garter stitch edging on the bottom, these are just super cute garments and exactly what any kid might need. 

We're going to recommend King Cole Cherish and Cherish Dash DK, gorgeous self striping yarns with a super soft texture. For the yoke, the Cherished DK is the solid version of the previously-mentioned yarns and will go super well with them.

You'll need 3.25mm and 4mm needles, 3.25mm circular needles, and three buttons for the cardigan.
