This is a great unisex set of patterns if you can see past the very delightful model on the cover! There is a cabled cardigan and waistcoat with a v-shape neckline suitable for all kids. 

These patterns are knitted in King Cole Big Value Chunky which is a soft, washable 100% acrylic yarn - perfect for the small ones. You could also try King Cole Chunky Tweed , which is a lovely flecked yarn with 25% wool content.  

You will also need 5mm and 6mm needles and King Cole suggest a 5mm 100cm circular if required for picking up the ribbing on the front.
