This is a great set of patterns for a new knitter. Using basic stitch patterns and a double knit yarn; these are simple garments knitted flat and then seamed together. Sized for babies from 3 months to 3 years so there is a nice variety of sizes. 

The patterns are knitted in King Cole Cherished DK and its sister yarn King Cole Cherish DK. This yarn is a great choice for babies as it is anti-pill and super soft. If you fancy trying something a little different, Drifter for Baby DK is a durable and soft yarn with a hint of cotton! 

You will need a 3.75mm and 4mm straight needles and buttons for finishing.
