A nice snuggly yarn and a chunky cable knit is perfect to get you through the long cold winters. I love the twisting cables as part of the hem in these patterns which brings a lovely splash of interest. 

This pattern would look great knitted in King Cole Drifter Aran which is a mixture of cotton/acrylic/wool which is wonderfully soft with self-striping and fauxisle colours! I would also suggest that this would look FABULOUS in our King Cole Forest Aran, which is entirely recycled so even more sustainable and has delicious colourways with beautiful flecks to enhance those cables. 

You will need 4mm and 5mm needles, cable needle with stitch holders. King Cole also recommend that you use a 4mm 100cm circular needle which we stock from Addi and from Clover.
