When I was a young'un I would have loved that pink cardigan, it's lovely. I'm so glad that the cable goes all the way around the pattern, even on the sleeves. Why would you deny yourself of such beautiful cabling glory! The jumper on the back is very gender neutral too, so this really is a versatile pattern. 

This is knitted in King Cole Comfort Chunky, but it would look great in the King Cole Drifter Chunky too.

You'll need 5mm and 6mm needles, a cable needle, stitch holders for the jumper and five or six buttons for the cardigan depending on the size you're making.
