The feature of this design is a wide collar with a lace pattern and a raglan sleeve. A really pretty and wearable cardigan for any youngster.

These are knitted in King Cole Big Value Chunky which is a soft 100% acrylic yarn that can be thrown in the washing machine. You could also try King Cole Riot Chunky which is a bright multicoloured yarn with a slow colour change that looks great in garments. 

You will need 5mm and 6mm needles, King Cole also suggest that you need a 5mm 100cm circular needle - I would recommend buying just one 5mm circular needle and using this to also complete the rest of the garment.
