The Celtic look of this cable makes me dream of wandering the highlands in my fancy knitted vest. I imagine it would be very romantic...

These patterns are knitted in King Cole Big Value Chunky which is a 100% acrylic yarn, soft and  in some really lovely shades. I shall even be so bold as to recommend taking a look at the Fir colourway for this pattern. You could also take a look at King Cole Chunky Tweed as a substitute as this has a lovely fleck with bold jewel tones - popular in the shop and great for cables. 

These garments are knitted on 5mm and 6mm needles and you will need a cable needle and stitch holders
