Originally knitted in the self-striping King Cole Drifter Chunky, a truly wonderful yarn that might not be best suited to this kind of garment, as all your hard work with the cables can be lost in the pattern. A fab alternative would be the King Cole Timeless Chunky, an acrylic/alpaca blend that is soft, soft and wonderful.

Knitted on 5mm and 6mm straight needles and a cable needle with stitch holders.
